Genocide in Gaza
“That this Congress acknowledges and applauds the South African Government for seeking to end the slaughter in Palestine through its Application of ‘The Convention on The Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide’ in the Gaza Strip.
“Congress condemns and is appalled by the actions of the UK Government and the Labour Party opposition in endorsing and enabling the illegal actions of the apartheid Israeli Government regime who are guilty of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and collective punishment of the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip and are also perpetrating crimes in the broader Occupied Territories.
“Congress expresses its grief and disgust at the targeted and indiscriminate murders of doctors, nurses, firefighters, paramedics, journalists, United Nations staff, teachers, professors, lecturers, artists, poets, and local authority workers by the Israeli occupying forces.
“Congress mourns the great grandparents, grandparents, mothers, fathers, children, and babies murdered by the Israeli occupying forces.
“Congress stands in Solidarity with the Palestinian people and in unity with the millions who have marched, demonstrated, and called for an immediate ceasefire.
“Congress calls for an end to the Genocide in Palestine.”
