Resources for reps

TUC Education

Our sister organisation, the TUC, provides a range of briefings, webinars, resources, and courses (both online and in person) for reps. Please visit their website for more information.

The large majority of the guidance contained in these resources will be applicable for reps working in Scotland. Because some of the law relating to health & safety and equalities is devolved, please be aware of potential variations in Scotland. If in doubt, email info@stuc.org.uk or contact your union.

Scottish Hazards Centre

The Scottish Hazards Centre provides free and confidential information, advice, support and training to workers and reps on workplace health and safety issues. Visit their website for more information.

Scottish Union Learning

Our learning and skills project, Scottish Union Learning, supports trade unions in developing, organising and delivering work-related learning and skills projects for members. For more information on their work, please visit their website.

ACAS run a helpline for anyone who needs employment law or workplace advice: 0300123 1100. More information on all the services they offer can be found on their website.
