MONDAY/TUESDAY 3-4 NOVEMBER 2014
CONCERT HALL, PERTH
The 2014 Annual Scottish TUC Women’s Conference will be held on Monday/Tuesday 3-4 November 2014, in the Concert Hall, Perth.
With more delegates and visitors registered to attend than in previous years, the Conference will bring women together from many different employment sectors. Delegates from workplaces across Scotland will be speaking up for those most affected by austerity, and will be outlining many different campaigns on equality and social justice.
Ann Joss, RMT, National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers Chair of the STUC Women's Committee and Conference said
“Women play a key role in Scotland's economy - It's time that women's contribution, both paid and unpaid, is recognised and valued properly. Our conference will hear from workplaces across Scotland and promises to be a lively and interesting event.”
Media are welcome to attend the conference and can register in advance or at the Conference reception desk at the Concert Hall.
